This infographic was made on Canva to show how a meatless diet can help to make the world more sustainable.

When creating my Infographic, I wanted to make sure that my topic of information was directly related to my keyword, ‘sustainability.’ I focused my information on how human’s daily consumption of meat is contributing to an unsustainable environment. I added an eye-catching title that was bold and related directly to the information in the infographic. I did this because the Woman in Tech infographic we studied, had an enticing title that gave the reader an idea of the infographics information. The Woman in Tech infographic also added pie charts and bar graphs, which I did as well. This is because pie charts are easy to understand as they enable the audience to see the data comparison immediately and analyse it. The bar graph allows readers to contrast different sets of data at a glance to see the meaning behind the data. I also tried to convey my information concisely by making sure there was not too much text, while also organising it in a vertical way so that readers could follow along like a ‘story.’ I did this because at first I had too much information, like in the
Evolution of Apple infographic we studied, that it was even hard for me to understand the layout of my information. I also made sure to stick to the same colour scheme so that it was visually appealing, while also bolding words to show importance. I think that infographics can convey information in a way that is fun, enjoyable, and aesthetically pleasing.
